Navigators to Welcome Radford Pair for 2022 Season

LYNN, Mass. -- The North Shore Navigators of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) are set to welcome two players from Radford University for the first time ever. The duo will compete during the franchise’s 15th season.

Infielder Ty Dooley has been the top hitter for the Highlanders during his freshman season. The Elgin, S.C., native was a top-500 recruit out of Blythewood High School and the fourth-best shortstop in his home state according to Perfect Game. This season at Radford, Dooley is hitting .388 with a .935 OPS, three extra-base hits, a team-leading 11 RBI and four stolen bases across 15 games.

Another rookie from McKees Rock, Pa., left-handed pitcher Gannon Kadlecik went 6-3 with a 1.91 ERA and 100 strikeouts in 62.1 career innings at Montour High School. Kadlecik has made a handful of early-season appearances for Radford, striking out four batters in 4.2 frames.
