The North Shore Navigators are seeking interns for the 2023 NECBL season in the following categories:
EVENT STAFF
Be part of the crew that “puts on the show” at all home games and get valuable experience while building your resume and network. We are looking for people who have the ability to lead and are willing to learn in the process.
Event staff interns will work in the following areas:
- Gate management (ticket selling and taking)
- Merchandise/souvenir sales
- 50/50 raffle sales
- In-game, on-the-field promotions
- Other duties as required by special promotions and events

BASEBALL DATA/ANALYTICS
- Responsible for the use of two cutting edge technology platforms, Trackman Baseball and Synergy Sports, during all 2023 season home games at Fraser Field
- Gather data for the Navs' coaching staff, the New England Collegiate Baseball League, as well as Trackman Baseball and Synergy Sports
- Oversee both platforms and transfer information for review by the staff, the NECBL and both companies
- Must have knowledge and experience with baseball statistics and be able to serve as a secondary official scorekeeper using NECBL provider Pointstreak Sports Technologies

PRESS BOX
PLAY-BY-PLAY BROADCASTER & MEDIA RELATIONS -- POSITION FILLED FOR 2023
- Give play-by-play/color commentary for all home and away games on the NECBL Broadcast Network, partnering with the opposing team's broadcaster
- Serve as a designated contact for all broadcast matters with the NECBL and its broadcast host, BlueFrame Technology
- Take a leading role in creating team podcasts, interviews with players and coaches, etc.
- Serve as a liaison between the team and local media outlets, as instructed by front office
- Contribute to the writing and distributing of post-game recaps and other written content for the team’s website, nsnavs.com, and local newspapers
- Create daily game notes and programs to aid broadcast preparation and distribute to the rest of the press box and outside media
- Assist in the production of the team’s annual media guide
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the front office
GAME ENTERTAINMENT
- Responsible for all music, sound effects, etc., at home games using our music system
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY/SOCIAL MEDIA
- Responsible for photographing/videographing all Navs home games, covering in-game action, promotions and other activities at Fraser Field
- Edit/organize photos/videos for use on team's web/social media and outside media sources
- Create content and help to maintain team's social media accounts throughout the season
VIDEO PRODUCTION -- POSITION FILLED FOR 2023
- Work alongside play-by-play broadcaster to produce each live home game broadcast via BlueFrame Technologies
- Must have prior live video production experience
JOURNALISM -- POSITION FILLED FOR 2023
- Work with media team to produce written game previews, recaps and feature stories
- Conduct interviews with players and staff to be video recorded and posted on team social media accounts
- Must have knowledge and experience with baseball statistics and be able to serve as a secondary official scorekeeper using NECBL provider Pointstreak Sports Technologies
