About Us
The North Shore Navigators ("Navs") have played at Lynn's historic Fraser Field since 2008 and are one of 14 current members of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL), one of the top leagues of its kind in the country.
The Navs returned to the NECBL for the 2021 season after competing in the Futures League from 2012-20, winning a pair of FCBL Organization of the Year honors in 2015 and 2018. After a tenure of independent professional ball in Lynn, North Shore originally played in the NECBL from 2008-11, capturing the Fay Vincent Cup championship in 2010.
While baseball’s stars of tomorrow are showcased on the field, Navs games include fun for fans of all ages. The popular “kids run across the outfield” in the sixth inning is just one of many between-innings contests and promotions fans can enjoy during each and every game.
The Navs are actively involved in the North Shore community, supporting non-profit and youth organizations. Every home game features various group outings including little leagues, schools, camps and many more.
More than 20,000 fans have visited Fraser Field every summer since 2008, making the Navs a staple family-friendly attraction for the City of Lynn, the greater North Shore and surrounding communities.
Like all NECBL teams, the Navs roster is made up of college student-athletes from all levels, hailing from all over the country. Many players each summer are local to the North Shore, Massachusetts and New England in general, but the team and NECBL consistently welcome players from virtually every major Division 1 conference.
Nearly 50 players have been drafted or signed by professional teams during or after their time with the Navs, and four former players have advanced their careers all the way to the highest level in Major League Baseball.
