LYNN, Mass. -- The North Shore Navigators will welcome two players from prominent Division 3 programs to their roster for the New England Collegiate Baseball League’s (NECBL) upcoming 2021 season.

Marymount University shortstop Alex Lemery will head north to the NECBL after concluding his incredible junior season in the Atlantic East Conference. The native of Fairfax, Va., ranks in the top-50 nationally with his .450 average and sports a whopping 1.419 OPS across 22 games. Lemery has recorded 18 extra-base hits, 34 RBI, 31 runs scored and 18 stolen bases while walking 16 times against only seven strikeouts during his breakout season. He landed on the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week on April 20.

A local product, North Andover’s Tristan Latham will be one of North Shore’s catchers in 2021 as he is set to join the team following his sophomore year at Pomona College in California. The former Phillips Andover standout’s two campaigns with the Sagehens were altered due to the pandemic, as he played in just four games in 2020. During his prep career, Latham helped New England’s top-ranked team win two Central New England titles and was a three-time Perfect Game Preseason All-America Honorable Mention selection.

The Navigators are excited to return to the NECBL for the 2021 season, which will begin on Friday, June 4 at Lynn's historic Fraser Field. Stay up to date on the latest Navs news by visiting nsnavs.com and following the team on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
