LYNN, Mass. — Here are the latest college baseball highlights for incoming North Shore Navigators players:

It was a big week for both future Navigators at Monmouth. Freshman pitcher Ryan Mealy had a career day on Sunday, throwing a nine-inning complete game with 10 strikeouts for the Hawks who defeated North Carolina A&T 13-0 to salvage the weekend. He earned Coastal Athletic Association Co-Rookie of the Week for the effort, retiring the first nine batters he faced and scattering six singles. Also, Simmi Whitehill had a great game in the Hawks’ midweek victory against Princeton, as he scored three runs and was on base all day in a 13-3 win against the Tigers.

Massachusetts also received contributions from rostered North Shore players both at the plate and on the mound. First baseman Marc Willi had another strong week with two 2-for-5 games, including hitting his third home run of the season in a midweek affair against Fairfield. Willi had a pair of multi-hit performances during an Atlantic 10 weekend set at Richmond, including one in a 12-6 Saturday win. The Minutemen lost the weekend series following a 3-1 Sunday decision, but St. John’s Prep product Sam Belliveau threw his longest start of the season with five innings of two-run ball and four strikeouts.

Stonehill won back-to-back games to claim a Northeast Conference series for the second consecutive weekend, as catcher Aidan Sengenberger was a combined 4-for-9 with eight RBI and two runs scored across the 18-7 and 9-5 wins at Mercyhurst. The highlight of Sengenberger’s weekend was a 3-for-6, six-RBI Saturday in which he hit an eighth-inning grand slam. Center fielder Sam Parks put together two multi-hit games in the series, scoring two runs from the top of the lineup in the first victory on Saturday.

Brody Dalton (St. John’s River State) had a red hot weekend doubleheader against Lake Sumter State for the Vikings, going 5-for-6 with three home runs (upping his season total to 17) and five RBI. In the first half of the twinbill, Dalton launched his first homer as part of a 3-for-3 effort with three RBI. Dalton’s encore in game two was just as impressive, as he went deep twice more while going 2-for-3 with two RBI and two walks.

Jesse Jaconski (Penn State) extended his hitting streak to seven games after going 4-for-9 in a Big Ten weekend series against USC. The North Shore veteran was 2-for-2 in the Nittany Lions’ 3-1 Friday win before adding his 36th RBI of the season despite Sunday’s rubber game loss. He is hitting .355 with nine extra-base hits and 22 of his RBI during conference play.

Gloucester native Zach Morris (Rhode Island) continued his strong run of relief with two strikeouts in a scoreless inning of work during a 5-3 Friday win over St. Bonaventure. He has now thrown six scoreless appearances this season, including two of his last three. Oisin Lee (Notre Dame) pitched in a homecoming at Boston College on Sunday, throwing 1.1 innings out of the bullpen and striking out two. Lee has fanned multiple batters in each of his last four appearances and now has 16 in 9.2 innings on the season.

In the Division 3 ranks, Jack Gold (Pomona-Pitzer) recorded hits in each game of a SCIAC set against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Gold scored two runs on the weekend and drove in another with an RBI single in the Sagehens’ 9-5 Saturday win. Trey Yesu (Bridgewater State) earned his fourth win in five starts, dealing the first 4.1 innings in the first game of a Monday doubleheader against MASCAC competitor Fitchburg State.

The Navigators will return to historic Fraser Field and the NECBL for their 18th summer collegiate season in 2025, with first pitch set for Tuesday, June 3 against the Northern Division rival Upper Valley Nighthawks.
