LACONIA, N.H. -- The North Shore Navigators dropped a low-scoring affair up at Winnipesaukee falling 2-0 to the Muskrats on Monday night. Their three-game winning streak came to an end coming off of the All-Star Game, now holding an 11-28 record.

Luke Marshall (Fairfield) got the start for the Navigators coming in with a 3.72 ERA and 33 strikeouts on the season. After a shaky start allowing two runs off separate wild pitches in the first, he settled in giving up no runs past that point. While he did pick up the loss, he tossed six strong innings allowing only two runs off six strikeouts and a walk.

Geoffrey Mosseau (St. John's) notched his second win of the season for the Muskrats tossing five scoreless innings with just 3 hits.

From there Winnipesaukee to bullpen arms Ian Murphy and Brenden Aldridge to cap off the Muskrats first shutout of the year with two scoreless innings a piece. Aldridge picked up his first save of the summer on just his second NECBL outing.

Designated hitter Connor Bertsch (Dartmouth) led the charge for North Shore offensively picking up two base knocks, while right fielder Stan DeMartinis (Bryant), catcher Charlie Taylor (Tennessee) and center fielder Justin Cassella (Elon) all grabbed one of their own as well.

The Navigators stay on the road tomorrow looking to turn the page down in the Nutmeg State where they’ll take on the Mystic Schooners. First pitch is slated for 6:35 p.m. at Dodd Stadium as North Shore will give Graham Jeffries (Salve Regina) the start.
