50/50 nights benefit local organizations in 2010:

The Navigators are proud to announce that in conjunction with Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy's Office, Mayor's Night will be held on June 12th, 6:15pm at Fraser Field. Proceeds from ticket sales will help fund Lynn’s annual July 4th Fireworks sponsored jointly with Swampscott.

"The Navigators as an organization are excited and proud to join Mayor Judith Flanagan’s Office in providing support to help fund Lynn's July 4th Fireworks," said Tim Haley, Navigators' Director of Business Operations. "It is an extension of our goal to become part of the fabric of the Lynn community."

In addition, Haley noted that on Saturday, June 24th, the Navs will be honoring Lynn's LA VIDA Inaugural Class of Graduating Scholars.

In 2009, the Navs' 50/50 Nights generated over $30,000 in revenue for eastern Massachusetts organizations who participated in the 50/50 Community Nights at the ball park, including: Lynn Classical High School; Operation Boot Straps – Lynn; Melrose Youth Baseball; Saugus American LL; Beverly LL; Danvers LL; Wakefield Babe Ruth; Peabody HS; Cambridge HS; Boxford Athletic Association; Topsfield Athletic Association; The May Institute for Autism; Beverly School for the Deaf; Advocates Inc; ALS – Lou Gehrig’s Disease; and Marblehead LL.
